The journey, from first line to finished canvas
When this commission was planned, the thought began long before the brush touched canvas. Two paintings, conceived as a pair, composed in pencil, then brought to life in oil on fine canvas. Your gift is one of a kind, created for you, and for the years ahead.
Painting one, after Henri Matisse, Nu Rose Assis

Matisse sought serenity through line and luminous colour, he spoke of art as a comfortable armchair for the mind. Nu Rose Assis captures the quiet radiance of the human form, pared back to essentials, contour, balance, breath. In this recreation the soft rose tones and measured curves invite calm, intimacy, and time to slow.
Painting two, after Robert Delaunay, Bleus Mouvants

Delaunay chased light as rhythm, colour as music. His work pulses with movement, planes of blue that seem to hover and turn. In this recreation the blues gather and part like waves, energy without noise, modernity with a lyric heart.
Matisse and Delaunay shared the Paris air, each trusting colour to carry feeling on its own. One offers stillness and poise, the other motion and song. Together, a dialogue of rest and release.
The making
Initial pencil compositions, reviewed and refined. Oils on canvas roll, now en route to the framers. Final presentation, archival mounts, protective finish, careful delivery.

Your 50 Trees
As part of this gift, 50 trees will be planted in your name. These trees will soon be added to our Ecologi forest, and we will share your personal tracking link with you once planting is confirmed.
