Description

Chess like life, is an existential game. All living creatures including us are in a continuous game for survival until we are checkmated and the game is over. The board is then cleared and a new game can start in a never ending cycle of struggles for survival. This images takes this as a starting point for a large scale allegory. This print is a 17 colour silkscreen print made on Somerset tub size, a heavyweight 350 gram handmade paper from St Cuthbert’s Mill in Somerset, England. The print is in a limited edition of 75 and is signed by the artist. The image size is 40 x 60 cm on a paper size of 50 x 70 inches.
