Description
After being ill for a period, several months ago, when I got back to painting I was drawn to painting with more freedom and expression. My paintings during this period reflect my emotions, especially after losing my beloved mother at Christmas. I have been working intuitively, using different tools to make marks and texture, and creating multi-layered paintings. This painting is one of a series of small paintings on paper. My son named this painting, apparently it is the Latin word for sky – I had been studying clouds when I painted it! Painting in an abstract way gives me a feeling of freedom and release and although we may be in a difficult situation right now, we WILL come through, the human spirit is amazing. This painting is 6″ x 8″ and painted with acrylic, it has no mount or frame` Please be aware that all computer monitors are different, and the colours on your screen may not represent the painting accurately. I use as much good quality recycled packaging that is available. Customs fees and /or duties may be payable upon receipt.
