Dog’s portraits
Specialist portrait artist
a watercolour portrait of a boxer dog captivated by a butterfly, painted on 9×12" watercolour paper. This piece focuses on capturing a genuine moment of canine curiosity, with close attention to the texture of the fur, the softness of the muzzle, and the expressive eye.
Artist story
Dogs have always fascinated me — every one has a distinct personality, and I believe you can see it in their eyes if you look closely enough. That’s what I try to capture in every portrait: not just fur and markings, but the actual character of the dog.
I work in watercolour and coloured pencil on Arches paper, building up layers slowly to get the detail right, especially around the eyes and expression. My goal is always the same — a portrait that feels like your dog, not just any dog.
