My name is Dylan. I am a metal fabricator by trade but have many other skills under my belt through my passion of all things creative and constructive.

I am a young working class man, raised on building sites – hence my love for working with my hands and building things. I now operate under my brand name – Feo Browne.

Since getting into the metal fabrication trade I have fallen in love with working with metal. It is a unique process that yields results unlike any other material.

I learnt my craft initially in the architectural/structural steelwork industry. Here I learnt the essentials of fabrication and welding. I came to a point where I could fabricate these items extremely efficiently (and effectively) for my employer, yet I was lacking the creative spark that I really desired.

Once I began exploring metalwork creatively, I became extremely interested in the decorative finishing side of things too. Since then I have learnt and perfected some unique forms of finishing such as chemical patination and painting with metal powders.

I now offer some of my own designs for sale, as well as taking on bespoke projects. I take on commissions from furniture to mirrors, lighting and also architectural pieces too. My primary material is steel, a versatile material which can take on so many forms due to it’s strength.

Steel patination is also underrated too in my opinion. While it cannot take on patinas in the same way as copper alloys, there is still a beautiful range of colours and finishes you can achieve by treating steel. That being said, I am also able to work with other materials such as brass and stainless steel.
