My name is Miguel, born in Lisbon, 1976.

I’m a artist working currently in the south of Portugal, I mostly paint commissioned artworks and create for local restaurants, shops and private collectors.

I also am a permanent artist in the Galeria Luis Vasconcelos in Alvor, Algarve, painting rustic landscapes for visitors.

Commissioned artwork arrives mostly through platforms like Commission It, it’s a great way to escape the grinding of painting church after church or rustic plazas. I love the challenge of painting buyers ideas and talk about it creatively until we reach a point where I can put the brushes to work!

My skills focus on oil painting and digital art and I have experience with portraits, landscapes and pet portraits.
