How We Keep Your Commission Safe and Secure
Step 1. Payment to Commission It
Pay Commission It for your project by bank transfer using the details in your commission agreement.
Step 2. Artist Payment and Confirmation
Depending on the artist and our relationship, we may release part of the commission value to them (usually 50% on order). The artist then reconfirms all details and typically provides a pencil outline or composition for your approval within 10 working days.
Step 3. Approve the Composition
Review the outline and request any changes. This is your chance to confirm every detail before the artwork progresses.
Step 4. Creation of the Commission
Once the composition is signed off, the artist completes the commission. You’ll receive a photo of the finished piece for your approval. Minor changes can still be made at this stage.
Step 5. Final Approval and Balance Payment
After your final approval, we pay the remaining balance to the artist. The commission is then carefully packaged and sent to us for inspection and quality control.
Step 6. Quality Check and Delivery to You
We carry out a final inspection and package your commission securely. It is usually sent to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
